In October 2020 the Municipal Council in Voss decided to construct a new sports and school wing at Voss Secondary School.

Voss Municipality will demolish the existing swimming pool and gymnastics hall at Voss Secondary School. A new school wing is to be constructed with 2 floors, as well as a gymnastics hall with measurements equivalent to a basketball court, and the accompanying changing room facilities.

Demolition of the existing swimming pool and gymnastics hall is part of the turnkey contract.

The contest and partnering phase will be carried out in accordance with the description in the contest documents. The contract has been signed. 

Outside areas/play areas are to be developed by the building. The existng school area is to be upgraded and new outside areas are to be developed. An external shed is to be established to the east of the sports wing for user equipment.

A technical room is drawn in for the existing outside pool to the south of the new gymnastics hall. This technical room, including the technical equipment for the accompanying pool, is an option.

The project is to be executed as a turnkey contract model with a partnering phase.

Consideration must be given to the school during the construction period.

Partnering 

There was a partnering phase after the assignment was awarded. The partnering has now been completed in accordance with the description in the contest documents, and a contract has been signed.
