On the basis of IT SiG, the University Hospital Leipzig is upgrading the infrastructure of the data network on the entire Liebigstraße campus. The existing fiber data network is expanded, equipped with decentralized 1 GB miniSwitches and executed redundantly to ensure the necessary availability. The miniswitche power supply is reinstalled as a central UPS power supply. At the same time, the existing wireless supply will be expanded to a full range of availability. The construction project includes all heavy and low-current engineering as well as all associated structural work. All work takes place in stock, for the most part under conditions of use and in compliance with hospital-specific hygiene.
The University Hospital Leipzig intends to upgrade and expand the infrastructure of the data network on the entire campus on Liebigstraße.
For this, drywall works for the production of new rooms, ceiling and wall openings are necessary, as well as preparatory dust protection measures for subsequent drilling work in 5 hospital buildings. The dust protection measures are carried out by room before each construction phase and removed again at the end of the work of all trades. The opening and closing of the ceilings takes place in the inventory.
The following services are to be performed:
— open and close the suspended plasterboard ceiling (approx. 2 000 m
— Open, close and secure F30 ceiling panel in existing buildings (approximately 2 000 pieces),
— erect dust barriers (approx. 900 m
— masking furniture and secure it with dust protection films (min. 450 m
— masking floors and securing them with dust protection films (min. 10 000 m
— Manufacture of rooms by means of fire safety single studs and all related measures (approximately 87 m
Dust protection and ceiling openings serve as a preparatory measure for further trades. Construction work will take place in parallel in several buildings, levels and rooms.
