AFK eiendom FKF (AFK) manages 34 schools, of which 32 are sixth form colleges and 2 are non degree granting colleges, and county dental clinics. They have a combined building area of approx. 450 000 m².

In the coming years AFK shall establish several student places by building new, expanding and rehabilitating several of the existing schools. The existing buildings were mainly erected after 1970.

This competition primarily concerns programming assignments, but also services necessary in an early phase.

Future school structure toward 2030 — phase 2 is the reason for this competition. The project was approved by the County Council 15.2.2016, case 1/16. The approval includes i.a. projects for preparation of the building program on several school in the near future.

No position has been taken on the contract form for the individual projects.
