The services are awarded as a service contract within the framework of an open procedure in accordance with the Ordinance on the Award of Public Contracts (Vergabeverordnung – VgV) and include transport services in the exempted school transport in the district of Marburg-Biedenkopf to the "Astrid-Lindgren-Schule" (Lot 1) and "Wollenbergschule" (Lot 2).

The "Astrid Lindgren School" is a school with a "focus on mental development and motor development". Students between the ages of 6 and 20 (up to the age of 10 or at most up to the 13th year of schooling) are taught. Some students have extensive disabilities, are in a wheelchair, or have medical limitations (e.g., epilepsy, spasticity, crying attacks).

As of November 2022, 57 pupils, 4 of whom are wheelchairs, are to be transported in exempted school transport in accordance with the annex to the transport contract Lot 1 "School transport list". The students are picked up or dropped off at the front door of the apartment.

Students are transported by vehicles of category "KB" (minibuses "8-seater plus driver") and category "KBR" (wheelchair minibus). The contractor must comply with the requirements of the annex to the transport contract Lot 1 "Vehicle categories". The transport performance is to be driven with 5 minibuses and 4 wheelchair minibuses.

The special school branch of the Wollenbergschule comprises the following funding priorities:

The special school branch of the Wollenbergschule currently consists of the elementary level at the Otto-Ubbelohde-Grundschule in Lahntal-Goßfelden.

In the elementary level, children with a focus on learning, emotional-social development, language, physical-motor development and mental development learn in the special school branch of the Wollenbergschule in grades 1-4. An extension to the 5th school year is possible in Goßfelden if necessary, as well as a change to the regular primary school of the Otto-Ubbelohde-Schule.

As of November 2022, 20 pupils are to be transported every school day, 1 of whom are in wheelchairs, in exempted pupil transport in accordance with the annex to the transport contract Lot 2 "School transport list". The students are picked up or dropped off at the front door of the apartment.

The transport of the students is carried out with vehicles of the category "KB" (KB = minibuses "8-seater plus driver") and "KBR" (KBR = wheelchair minibuses). The contractor must comply with the requirements of the annex to the transport contract Lot 2 "Vehicle categories". The transport performance is to be driven with a total of 2 minibuses of the category "KB" and 1 wheelchair minibus of the category "KBR".
