This contract is a supply contract for the supply and installation of "Weight In Motion - Bridge (WIM-Bridge)" weighing equipment under a frame bridge and analysis of associated data.
The WIM-Bridge is a system whose installation is based on a selected frame bridge.
The principle is to record data on total load and axle weight of vehicles.
The idea is to develop a pre-selection system such as those already used in Wallonia (Light Speed-Weigh In Motion) and to compare its performances.
The power supply, the signaling and the eventual securing of the site are the responsibility of the contractor.
The details of the supplies are given in the technical clauses and the inventory annexed to the present specifications.
The WIM-Bridge is a system whose installation is based on a selected frame bridge.
The installation consists of:
- sensors (Sensors) to be placed below a frame bridge to analyze 2 traffic lanes (total weight + axle weight),
A device making it possible to collect the raw data of the system in order to exploit them,
- An ANPR camera (plate reading) to cross the results with those obtained by the conventional WIM located downstream of the installation.
The power supply, the signaling and the eventual securing of the site are the responsibility of the contractor.
