Description:
SVK Residential Model Realisation of 2 residential projects with 40 housing units for rent to SVK Ghent

The purpose of this procedure is the selection of a private partner, i.e. a multidisciplinary team, to finally achieve a contractual public-private partnership (PPP) between sogent as a public partner on the one hand and a private partner on the other, with the objective of the realization of 40 new-build accommodation units on 2 sites in Ghent, and the rental of these homes to SVK Gent.

The private party is responsible for building, financing, renting to the SVK Gent and the owner maintenance of the buildings, in accordance with the housing lease legislation. The SVK Gent is responsible for the sub-letting of the accommodation units, with a rental guarantee to the private party for the duration of the main lease (s) of at least 27 years. SVK Gent guarantees tenants maintenance, as laid down in the current housing rental legislation.

After the expiry of business rights on the public grounds, the land and the stables set up thereon come into full ownership of the landowner (s).
