Marine raw materials are a finite resource whose exploitation should be sustainably. Therefore, the
There is a need for qualified knowledge about raw materials in Danish waters that can contribute to a sustainable
management and secure raw material supply from the sea in the future.
In order to increase knowledge of raw material resources at sea, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency collects annually
raw material data in Danish waters used to map the location, volume and volume of raw materials;

It has not yet been determined how many wells will be collected in each of the 24 mapping areas. The majority of the drilling positions are expected to be identified before the voyage begins, but drilling positions will also be identified along the way. However, drilling positions selected along the way will only be designated in the vicinity of the remaining part of the cruise's route. Thus, there will be no risk that, due to drilling positions designated during the voyage, it will have to sail back to mapping areas that have already been abandoned.
