The subject of the Order is the performance of the service entitled "Reprofilacja kolejowych w torach i rozturnach Metra Warszawski Sp. z o.o." under the conditions specified in the procurement documents: Technical Specification, together with attachments, which contains a description of the subject of the contract, and in the Model Agreement.

The service provided as part of the Subject of the Order consists in removing the necessary thickness of the metal layer in a specified range of the running and transition surface of the rails, while maintaining the required cross-section and longitudinal profile. Reprofiling is to ensure: in the case of new rails, elimination of metallurgical defects, in long-operated rails elimination of surface cyclic irregularities and shallow fatigue defects and reduction of fatigue deep defects. Reprofiling must be preceded by preliminary measurements and controlled by as-built measurements.

The works will be carried out in the tunnels of the first (M1) and second (M2) lines of the Warsaw Metro.

The Contracting Authority requires employment, on the basis of an employment contract within the meaning of the provisions of the Act of 26 June 1974 – Labour Code (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1510, as amended), by the Contractor or Subcontractor, of all persons performing the above. Activities related to the implementation of the contract:

(a) operation of the grinding machine;

(b) grinding machine service;

(c) supervising the technical efficiency of the grinding machine.

The rules for verification of this condition by the Ordering Party and sanctions for failure to meet these requirements are specified in the Model Agreement.

The subject of the Order will be implemented in accordance with the order documents, i.e.: the Specification of the Terms of the Order and its attachments, in particular the Technical Specification together with attachments and the Model Agreement.
