Bocholter Energie- und Wasserversorgung GmbH (BEW) - hereinafter referred to as AG - was commissioned by the city of Bocholt with the planning and expansion of a comprehensive, passive broadband network described in the project area described in the following chapter. The aim of the state-funded project is the establishment of a future-proof and modern "Fiber to the Building" (FttB) network in the area of the so-called "white spots". These include all connections that are not min. 30 Mbit / s are available in the downstream.
The overall construction of all clusters is scheduled to begin in April 2019 and to be completed by the end of 2021.
For this purpose, all necessary construction services are to be provided, in particular civil engineering services for all surfaces in open and closed construction, drawing and blowing services, infrastructure services, especially the construction of network technology and fiber optic installation work.
Civil engineering work cluster 3Main services:
Civil engineering, production of surfaces and base layers, pipe trenches, construction pits, drilling methods, shafts, production of house connections.
Cable pulling work cluster 3Main services:
Blowing in micro tubes and cables, assembly of the entire passive network infrastructure (fiber optic assembly PoP NVt, GF-AP and cable network), documentation and project management.
