Kajave Oy (hereinafter referred to as “subscriber” or “contracting entity”) requests candidates to submit an application for participation in the negotiation procedure in accordance with the procurement notice published in the HILKA notification channel and this request for participation and its annexes.

Kajave Oy (Subscriber) is part of the Loiste Group and acts as a distribution system manager as defined by the Electricity Market Act in an area of network responsibility covering the nine municipalities of Kainuu, as well as the municipality of Pytailä and part of the municipality of Saikalatva in northern Ostrobothnia. The subscriber is responsible for the transmission of electricity in its network area, the construction, operation and maintenance of the electricity network, and the purchase of related services.

Loiste Lääläö Oy has authorized Kajave Oy to compete with the Service, to conclude a decision on the acquisition and the contract. Only one contract is concluded with the winner of the tender. Subscribers are invoiced by the Service Provider in accordance with the ratio reported by Subscribers. Well over 95% of the services are directed to Kajave Oy's electricity grid and less than 5% to Loiste Läiste Lääö Oy's district heating network.

The projected value of the acquisition is EUR 1-2 million (VAT 0%) over a three-year contract period.

The subscriber currently procures customer service mainly through two separate purchase services agreements (customer service and technical customer service).

The acquisition involves customer service tasks related to the electricity grid and district heating network (contact center). In Annex 1, The description of the object of the acquisition is a preliminary view of the service under acquisition. The final item's service description is defined in the final call for quotation.

The Subscriber will select one (1) supplier with whom it will contract.

The contract with the supplier to be selected shall not include any obligation to purchase.

Alternative or parallel bids are not accepted. Sub offers are not allowed.

The subscriber aims for the contract to be signed in April 2022 and the contractual service would be launched no later than September 1, 2022.
