Firm share: Design, qualification, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a set of 6 multi-unit sources consisting of 7 diesel generator sets and all their auxiliaries for 6 EPR2 units.
Optional part for the 6 units: option to supply spare parts, option to maintain the facilities in operational condition and safety (until the last unit is commissioned) and option to maintain the facilities in operational condition and safety for an additional 10 years, option for a one-year extension of the guarantee of good functioning
The object of the contract is the supply under an "EPCC" (Engineering Procurement, Construction Commission) contract of 42 GHGs - emergency generators (Multi-group Source product "DEC-A") and their auxiliaries, for 6 nuclear power generation units of type "EPR2".
A unit is made up of 7 GHGs. The Source DEC-A is a multi-group architecture, with a redundant concept: 5+2 generator sets ("5" machines to provide the required power + 1 "rotating reserve" + 1 "maintenance reserve"). Each GHG is a group consisting of a self-contained unit with an integrated cooling system. All generators and their auxiliaries will be installed in a dedicated building.
The scope of this contract is made up of the following components:
- so-called "full skid" generators on a chassis with their integrated auxiliary systems (ventilation, oil, etc.) and their fuel relay tank,
- oil tarpaulins (7 tarpaulins per production unit),
- oil tarpaulin (1 tarpaulin per production unit),
- the fuel piping system, from the unloading flange at the entrance of the building to the generators (transfer skid, pumps, manifolds, etc.),
- the oil piping system (transfer skid, pumps, manifolds, etc.),
- Control-command and passive synchronization of generator sets,
- the electrical assembly associated with the source (control and protection cabinets for the groups, control cabinets for the groups, etc.),
- the load bank required for the unit requalification of the generator sets (1 load bank per unit of production),
- wiring between cabinets and GHGs,
- dedicated I&C,
- the fire protection system (sprinkler) of the diesel building,
- ventilation of generator cells,
- the cell heating system (electric unit heater for frost-free constrained maintenance),
- the diesel exhaust system to the roof of the building,
- the mobile means of handling (1 per unit) of the generators,
The scope of this contract includes:
- Design according to safety class C3 (RCC-E 2019)
- Management of interfaces and installation schedule,
- The K3 qualification of the equipment,
- The manufacture and supply of Materials,
- Storage and transport on the Sites,
- Mounting on the Sites,
- Testing and commissioning,
- the documentation required for the training of operating personnel,
- Maintenance in Operational Condition (optional part),
- the extension of the guarantee of good functioning (optional part),
- Provision of a unit price list for any additional services (spare parts, training, etc.)
Main technical specifications of the market:
- Nominal active power of the source: 7.5 MWe for 5 Units in operation
- Active power of an "elementary" generator: 1.63MWe to 2MWe per generator set
- Outdoor air temperatures: Range of -35°C to 50°C (extreme temperatures)
- GHG room air temperature: Up to 55°C (extreme condition)
- Engine Injection System: Mechanical injection required.
