The purpose of the procurement is the purchase of office, meeting room and patient furniture for Storhaugen Helsehus.
Storhaugen Helsehus shall be Kristiansund kommune's centre for short term and specialised functions. 3 day departments are being established, altogether there will be 35 day places with inter-municipal immediate help, rehabilitation care, palliative care and short term care. In addition, there will also be established an outpatient clinic, training department for the Sykepleierhøgskolen (College of Nursing) and patient/personnel canteen. From before, Nordmøre krisesenter (Crisis Centre), as well as the municipality's communal laundrette and communal kitchen have occupancy in the building. The building shall have an emergency function with the possibility for expansion of bed places during catastrophe situations.
The building is undergoing total renovation and shall be equipped with new inventory and equipment.
