The assignment includes the management and development of the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's existing Platinum solution and related modules and services. The supplier provides support and fault correction as well as assistance with configuration, customizations and updates of the system.

The Swedish Electrical Safety Authority has purchased the software in a special agreement with the product supplier Formpipe AB, to obtain rights to the system and access to new versions

Platina is the agency's common system for registration, case management, document management and register management since April 2009. Specially developed functions in Platinum, so-called process cards, are used to register statistics and follow up the business. Other functions developed for the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's Platinum are, for example, reports and bookmarks used in templates. Domain Sync is used to synchronize users from the Swedish Electrical Safety Agency's Active Directory. Mail imports are used to send in documents for registration in Platinum via e-mail.

Portal Bas is currently used as a platform for three e-services, which are highly automated and integrated with Platina. The Swedish Electrical Safety Authority also offers its own API service that can be used by external parties to make raids on the business register, via the aforementioned portal.

The agency has also had its own integrations developed with other e-services and uses File importer for this integration. The Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's Platinum also has integrations with external register services to be able to make API searches in e-services and to export and import data for monthly updates. Platinum's Webbdiarium has been used since 2012, in its own adapted form. The production environment is set up on three servers, database server, web server and file server. A corresponding AT environment is set up for development and testing. The management object also includes servers for related e-services. The Swedish Electrical Safety Authority does not have its own IT department, but buys operations and management. Current supplier is Atea. The agreement will be re-procured in 2023. The platinum partner works closely with the operations provider in incident management.

The platinum supplier gets access to the Electrical Safety Authority's Platinum environments via VPN tunnel. The supplier also has its own independent Platinum environment for development and testing, for which the supplier pays for any licenses.
