The purpose of this service is to carry out forest improvement interventions aimed at the control of weeds by cutting and spraying, the felling of dead trees, the reduction of excessive density in tree patches to be preserved, the removal of trees and woody residues toppled to the ground and the promotion of vertical and horizontal discontinuities between the strata, in 3 (three) lots of Serra de Sintra Forest Perimeter (PFSS) and 1 (one) lot in Penha Longa Perimeter (PFPL).
