The aim of the project is to deepen and improve cooperation in the partner countries of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge USA and CAN through an exchange, dialogue and cooperation process. The Transatlantic Climate Bridge (TCB) is intended to support the ambitious change in climate policy in the US and Canada and to strengthen climate cooperation at all levels. The addressee of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge is all relevant climate policy forces on both sides of the Atlantic, both at the level of administration and civil society actors, the economy and science. Ideas, narratives, concepts and instruments of German and European climate and energy policy will be actively introduced into the North American discussion and vice versa, American and Canadian approaches in Germany and Europe will be discussed. The Transatlantic Climate Bridge is a multi-stakeholder dialogue in which the administration and administration on both sides will be involved on an occasioned basis. Long-term partnerships between federal states or municipalities can also be established under the umbrella of TCB, which will then be continued independently and in the long term.
