Construction of medium-voltage systems and transformation stations with low-voltage distribution

As part of the expansion of emission-free drives in public transport, wupsi GmbH is procuring additional buses with battery-electric drives and creating the necessary charging infrastructure.

wupsi GmbH has opted for a depot load of the buses at its depots in Leverkusen and Bergisch Gladbach. In order to provide corresponding charging services, the grid connection capacities of the depots are expanded by the respective energy supplier.

Subject of tender:

In order to distribute the medium voltage supplied by the energy suppliers from the transfer point to the individual chargers, electrical systems such as transfer stations and transformer stations must be procured. The procurement contract also includes the supply and installation of cables, busbars, connections and enclosures for the electrical systems as well as the execution of the necessary earthworks. The order will be divided into two lots according to locations. Lot 1 concerns the Leverkusen site, Lot 2 the Bergisch-Gladbach site.
