Currently, surveys of insured persons following a hospital stay ("insured person satisfaction surveys") are carried out by means of a short questionnaire. Insured persons are surveyed in firmly defined survey waves over the entire calendar year.

The subject of the call for proposals is all the necessary subtasks after the surveys have already been carried out, including the response, in order to calculate the results, to make them available to the participants in order to finally ensure publication.

The results are published centrally in the hospital search of the AOK Health Navigator. This is intended to enable insured persons as well as treating and referring physicians to make an informed decision when choosing a suitable hospital.

Components of the service include:

- Central data collection for the participating AOKs

- Checking the plausibility of the transmitted data sets

- Determination of response rates

- Merging the transmitted data into a nationwide raw data file for each survey wave and survey type (VeZuF, VeZuF birth)

- Creation of result files according to various aggregation regulations as well as interface descriptions

- Creation and maintenance of the matching list for display in the AOK Health Navigator

- Provision of raw data and calculated results to different recipients in the respective specified format (xml, csv or Excel)

- Interim evaluation before publication

- Data protection-compliant data storage and deletion in accordance with GDPR
