Operations Assistance in Aust-Agder (DAiAA) is a collaboration between the municipalities in the old Aust-Agder County, (before the merger with Vest-Ager County on 1 January 2020). DAiAA offers, amongst other things, operations guidelines, competence spreading, accredited sampling at sewage plants, preparation and maintenance of internal control, as well as assistance with the procurement of individual services for the municipalities that are connected to the water and sewage installations. A contest for analysis services is being organised on behalf of the 15 member municipalities in DAiAA.

The analysis services include analyses of samples from the intake and discharge at sewage plants, from both minor plants that come under chapter 13 of the pollution regulations and from major sewage plants that come under chapter 14 of the pollution regulations, which are obliged to take accredited samples. Analyses of various samples from the water treatment plants, of both raw water, water being processed, and clean water from different parts of the network. Analyses of both nutrients and heavy metals in sludge from sewage plants.
