The contract covers the supply and installation of a hyperspectral imaging (HSI) in the short infrared (SWIR) system with the widest possible scope for cultural heritage.
The imaging system will be used to study a wide variety of heritage objects, ranging from small art and/or archaeological objects (with dimensions of a few centimeters), to paintings and/or sculptures (with dimensions ranging from several tens of centimeters to several meters) to monuments and archaeological sites. The installation must therefore allow work both under controlled laboratory conditions (both in a vertical and horizontal configuration) and in the field (in museums and/or in outdoor environments).
