The service provides the treatment of ordinary non-hazardous materials collected in the twelve waste collection centers of Smictom Sud-Est 35, in lot 5, over fifteen months.

Treatment of all waste usually found in the "general" category and measuring more than 80 cm. Waste that cannot be recovered in “material recovery”, comprising mostly “incinerable” materials greater than 80 cm, and some non-recoverable materials.

Do not fall into this category:

Toxic, explosive or dangerous waste, inert waste, scrap metal, wood and any other waste corresponding to an existing channel at the recycling center.

The Smictom imposes at least an energy recovery of this waste, that is: all non-recyclable waste comprising materials likely to be incinerated, including bulky items of small size (less than 80 cm). For example: fabrics, soiled cardboard, non-recyclable plastic objects, non-recyclable plastic films, etc. do not fall into this category:

- explosive waste,

- special household waste,

- plants,

- non-soiled cardboard boxes,

- garbage,

- wood.

As a reminder, the Smictom Sud-Est 35 has signed an agreement with Eco-Mobilier and the operational REP is set up on ten of the twelve sites (except Retiers and Martigné). A change is to be considered on the Retiers site only over the duration of this contract. Treatment of wood waste (class A and B): wooden furniture, pallets, crates, reels, shutters, doors, structural timber, planks, plywood, particle boards, chipboards, etc.

Do not fall into this category:

Green waste, stumps and logs, plastics, scrap iron, inert waste, Rotten wood, heated, hardwood treated (exterior), railroad ties, telephone poles, glass, stones.

Treatment of plaster and plasterboard waste from waste collection centers. As a reminder, the collection of plaster and plasterboard is deployed only at valoparc, ie five of the twelve sites (Vitré, Châteaubourg, Châteaugiron, Janzé, La Guerche de Bretagne). There is no change planned.

Treatment of polystyrene wedging waste (white, clean and dry) from recycling centers.
