The object of the procurement is overhauls of six (6) rescue hoist and unforeseen maintenance services during the contract period. See Agreement appendix 2 -Pricing for detailed information on the schedule.
The procured services for hoist systems including all related sub-components, like controllers, consist of:
• Periodic servicing, inspections and overhaul at the workshop
• Application of Airworthiness Directives, modifications and OEM Service Bulletins
• Unscheduled repairs
• Technical assistance
• Life Cycle and Obsolescence Management
In addition:
• Optional Loan Services for the pre-defined types of hoists as required by FBG
• Optional Sales of hoist systems or related sub-components should the maintained hoist system proove to be Beyond Economical Repair (BER).
The procurement include only the services for removable assemblies, subassemblies and parts of the rescue hoist system and exluces the assemblies, subassemblies and parts of the basic helicopter airframe and systems.
