The acquisition is the taxi transport services of VR-Yhtymä Oy and its subsidiaries (hereinafter VR or Customer) in the Kymenlaakso region.
The taxi delivery service under acquisition includes ordering a taxi transport by telephone centrally from one phone number, which is at the local call rate and no other fee, in addition to a local network fee or other similar operator fee. In addition, orders can be placed via a separate subscription application if the subscription application is available to the provider (optional). There may be no additional costs for ordering through the app to VR. The service includes forwarding taxi delivery orders to motorists, as well as arranging an ordered shuttle service in accordance with the agreed quality. The service also includes transportation billing as well as reporting.
Taxi transport services are primarily procured for use by VR staff. VR staff refers to the staff of all companies and businesses of the VR Group. Taxi transport services can also be obtained for use by VR customers. VR acquires taxi transport services for its customers when VR has a need to arrange a replacement transport for the customer.
Kymenlaakso region refers to the province of Kymenlaakso, from whose territory taxi transfers can either leave and/or arrive. The tenderer must be prepared to accept and commit to drive orders at all times of the day and regardless of the departure or entry point of transport. As a rule, transport needs are concentrated either on taxi transfers leaving and/or entering the Kouvola region. In the case of staff, the taxi transport is highlighted by certain of the most commonly used intervals (Kouvola internal drives, Kouvola-Pieksämäki, Kouvola-Imatra, Kouvola-Riihimäki, Kouvola-Vainikkala, Kouvola-Kotka). For staff taxi transport, there is also a need for other, non-pre-known and non-regular contact intervals, as well as in taxi transport for VR customers.
Taxi shipments have averaged around 80-130pc each month.
The information reported on contact intervals and volumes are estimates based on previous historical data and are not binding to VR in any way.
The object of the acquisition does not include invasion transports.
The contract period is two (2) years. It is possible to extend the contract for three (3) options periods up to one (1) year.
The object of the acquisition will be specified during negotiations and the final target of the acquisition will be described in the final invitation to tender.
The aggregate maximum value of any procurement under the framework agreement referred to in Article 45 (2) of the Special Sectors Procurement Act for the entire contract period (including options) is EUR 1.5 million. Candidates are invited to note that the maximum value referred to in Section 45 (2) of the Special Areas Procurement Act is different from the anticipated value of the acquisition.
