The municipality of Voorst continuously carries out maintenance work on green areas inside and outside the area. At the end of 2020, the contract for green work and cleaning within the built-up area was again put out to tender and awarded. For the work outside the built-up area, the municipality of Voorst intends to contract one contractor through this tender.

By tendering for this contract, the municipality wishes to place the mowing management outside the built-up area for a long time with a reliable partner. Due to the long-term commitment, the municipality of Voorst hopes to gain some ownership of the contracted contractor and to reveal the effects of more ecological mowing management.

The agreement has a term of one year. The agreement starts on 1.6.2021 and ends on 31.5.2022. The agreement provides for the possibility of extension. It can be extended three times in total by one full calendar year, up to and including 31.5.2025.
