DN invite companies to a competition for assignments on biological monitoring of the effect of acid precipitation in lakes in Norway. The project is a part of the basic monitoring that is carried out based on the water regulations. The project is coordinated with the monitoring project ØkoFersk (EcoFresh) that is financed and administered by the Climate and Pollution Agency (Klif). The two projects will be partly reported together. This part of the basic monitoring includes biological monitoring in a fixed network of the acidification sensitive lakes with a varying degree of acidification effects. The programm includes the biological elements fish, bottom fauna, littoral crustaceans and plantonic crustaceans.
