On behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Security (hereinafter JenV) part of the Central Judicial Debt Collection Agency (hereinafter CJIB), we invite you as a potential Candidate to apply for the restricted European tender for incident response retainer.

The CJIB has very large amounts of (citizen) data. The confidentiality level of this data is very high. A data breach can result in major damage for citizens and chain partners, and the State of the Netherlands. Therefore, the CJIB must comply with a high level of information security. With this assignment, the CJIB wants to contract a (sparring) partner who, in the event of an "incident", can assist the CJIB with specialist knowledge. In jargon, this is called an incident response retainer agreement.

In the event of a serious IT security incident, it is important to respond to the situation as quickly as possible with the right people and parties and, where possible, to use (external) expertise.

The contractor helps the CJIB to learn from incidents, reporting on findings and advising the CJIB on measures to be taken to prevent future incidents. The scope of the agreement also includes providing training and simulation exercises for the staff of the CJIB.
