Caruna is building a new substation called "Kolmiranta" in the City of Espoo. The substation will have one 110 kV main transformer (40 MVA) . In addition, Caruna is renovating a substation called Tuulissuo in Lieto, where the need is 110 kV for the main transformer (25 MVA). Current schedules for transformer deliveries to substations:
- Kolmiranta (40 MVA), Espoo, installed and ready to connect 6/2024.
- Tuulissuo (25 MVA), Lieto, installed and ready to connect 4/2024.
Caruna requests to participate in the tendering process for the above 110 kV main transformers.
The 3-phase 110 kV main transformers (40 MVA and 25 MVA) to be procured for Caruna's network are oil-insulated and must meet both the requirements of Caruna's technical specification and all standards, laws and regulations specified in the specification. The technical lifespan of the equipment 50 years and the lowest operating temperature - 40 Celsius degrees.
The procurement includes equipment deliveries in accordance with Caruna's technical specification as a total delivery to the Kolmiranta and Tuulissuo substations, including transport to the substation, installation, reconstitution, testing and the required documentation. Finally, Caruna connects the finished devices to the network. The equipment supplier's installation work at the substation (side contract) will be submitted to the main contractor of the substation.
The technical requirements and details of the equipment will be discussed in more detail with the tenderers selected for the round.
One supplier is selected for the entity, including 1 110 kV main transformer (40 MVA) and 1 pc 110 kV main transformer (25 MVA), so the bidder must be prepared to deliver both devices to Caruna's substations within the agreed delivery time.
