The City of Jyväskylä invites tenders for sanding material delivered to the site for the winter season 2023-2024. The materials to be procured are gritting ballast 3-8 and sanding sand.

The procurement comprises:

- delivery of gritting ballast to delivery points throughout the city. The delivery locations and estimated delivery volumes are presented in Appendix 2. The delivery points are combined into regional entities (parts 1 to 11 of the invitation to tender) within which the price is the same. Tenders can be submitted for several regional entities. Delivery location locations may change within a region, the number of delivery locations in the region may also change (new delivery locations or delivery locations will be retired)

- delivery of sands to three delivery points (parts 12 to 14 of the invitation to tender). The delivery locations and estimated delivery volumes are presented in Appendix 2. Tenders can be submitted for more than one destination.

The gritting ballast must meet the quality requirements of Appendix 3 and InfraRYL. The product must be suitable for sanding purposes, for example. grain size, water retention (anti-freezing) and spreadability. The customer can verify the suitability of the material for sanding purposes before the actual deliveries begin and during the contract period.

The sanding sand must meet the quality requirements of Appendix 4 and InfraRYL.
