Part 1:
Tenderers shall offer products from 2 different manufacturers within cabled network and wireless network. The same manufacturers can be offered for both cabled network equipment and wireless network equipment. Tenderers shall be able to deliver products from both manufacturers with good terms throughout the entire contract period. Tenderers will not be bound to offer products only from these manufacturers in later enquiries in the framework agreement.
The lists below are not exhaustive. In cases of doubt, the contracting authority will determine which part of any procurement shall be made in each individual case.
2.2 Wireless Network Equipment
Wireless network including, amongst other things:
— WLAN controllers, both physical and virtual.
— Access points.
— Equipment for coverage analysis/troubleshooting.
— Systems for administering the wireless network, including configuration and authentication, licence administration etc.
— Accessories that naturally come under the product area.
— Aerials, GBIC, GLC-T, SFP, electricity supply, brackets etc.

Cabled network including, amongst other things:
— Core switch,
— Edge switch,
— Blade switch,
— Modular switch,
— Routers/layer 3 switch,
— Equipment for troubleshooting and cable marking,
— Systems for administering the network, including configuration and authentication, licence administration etc.,
— Accessories that naturally come under the product area,
— GBIC, GLC-T, SFP, electricity supply, rack cupboard for switches, brackets etc.

Part 2:
Tenderers shall respond to the attached case and describe a system that shows detailed knowledge and understanding of the security products in question. Tenderers will not be required to deliver a complete security system, but they must be able to deliver 1 or several products for such a system. The design shall list which products are included and these shall be priced as ‘freestanding’ products. Note that this is a fictive case, but the prices stated shall be real.

— Authentication and log in,
— Application firewall,
— Internet control and web filtering,
— Secure authentication,
— Dealing with threats,
— Log in collection and SIEM service,
— End point security,
— Load balancing and application security,
— Remote access system,
— Secure access to minor locations,
— DDoS protection,
— Accessories that naturally come under the product area.
Tenderers can willingly provide services as an alternative to physical units, if a tenderer sees this as appropriate. The list is not exhaustive. In cases of doubt, the contracting authority will determine which part of any procurement shall be made in each individual case.

The same manufacturer can be offered for both server products and storage products. Tenderers shall be able to deliver products from the offered manufacturer(s) with good terms throughout the contract period. Tenderers will not be bound to offer products only from the mentioned manufacturer(s) in later enquiries in the framework agreement.
