Fit out of Ground, first, second and third floors of newly built West Stand at StoneX Stadium
The West Stand project at StoneX Stadium, is a new purpose-built development for Saracens Rugby Football Club located in the heart of Barnet. The scheme is split over four floors, with the internal area shared between Saracens and Middlesex University. The design will support facilities for the London Sports Institute and Health including specialist teaching areas for strength and conditioning, biomechanics, physiology labs alongside clinical simulation labs and community-based simulation rooms.
The new facility will build on the current success by providing students with greater opportunities to study in technologically advanced sport science labs and engage with professional, academy and community players within a ‘live’ working sport facility. Sport practitioners will be empowered to teach, consult, and pursue cutting‐edge research.
New state-of-the-art facilities for the School of Health & Education will help the university develop its simulation-based training, enhance the student experience, and deliver better-trained practitioners, many of whom will work in London and the local area.
Middlesex University wishes to procure a Design and Build contractor for the fit out of the Ground First, and second Floors of new built West Stand at StoneX Stadium.
The proposed contract form is JCT Design & Build 2016 with Employer’s Amendments.
