The deepening works will comprise of submarine blasting of rock and excavation of blasted rock down to planned level. The blasted rock is expected to be loaded on a barger and transported to a disposal site.

The planned deepening down to - 13, 3 (nautical chart zero) north of Tverrtaren includes 11 400 m3 solid bedrock. 1 700 m² trimming will also be included in the contract.

The planned deepening down to - 13, 3 (nautical chart zero) south of Fleina includes 10 703 m3 solid bedrock. 2 900 m² trimming will also be included in the contract.

The marking will involve casting of a concrete pillar as foundation for a lantern at Flestaren.
