Many Danish startups and growth companies do not realize their full potential because the company lacks commercial skills. Therefore, a network of commercial fire souls needs to be built, which will fuel startups that can help build more businesses faster.
To support this activity, a project manager is seeking to assist the Contracting Authority in identifying the companies that are considered to have the potential to participate in the activity "Leaders to Start Up's" and thus need to have commercial competencies added in order to realize their full potential.
The project manager, together with the companies, identifies the management skills that must be included in the companies' time-limited course and the project manager must identify relevant managers who can potentially be included in the activity. The project manager creates a matching model that the companies and the project manager can use when they together identify the management skills that the company needs.
To support the special activity "Leaders for Start-Ups", a project manager function has been identified for the implementation of the activity. The activity is described later in this section.
The chosen advisor, hereinafter referred to as "Project Manager", must be assisted by the Contracting Authority to identify the companies that are considered to have the potential to participate in the activity "Leaders to Start Up's" and thus need to have commercial competences added in order to realize their full potential.
The contracting authority is responsible for the final selection of the 15 companies.
The project manager, together with the companies, identifies the management skills that must be included in the companies' fixed-term course. A role description is prepared for this manager. The goal is for companies to gain access to a commercial management competence that can give the business owners a very direct commercial input into day-to-day operations.
The project manager must identify relevant managers who could potentially be included in the "Start Up's Leaders" activity. These managers must be referred to register in the Client's database of consultants in the Client's online granting system. The project manager creates a matching model that the companies and the project manager can use when they together identify the management skills that the company needs.
When the project manager and the company, through the matching model, have established themselves on the management skills and on the function that is desired in the company, the Client's online system for granting opens. In it, the company applies for a project in the activity "Leaders for Start Up's". In this application process, the company selects from the system's database of advisors, the adviser that they want to solve the task.
The contracting authority approves the company's application for the activity "Managers for Start up's" and thus also the company's choice of adviser.
The project manager must expect to devote his workplace to the Contracting Authority at least one day a week (as a starting point, the Headquarters of the Contracting Authority). This is to ensure a successful and dynamic project management in accordance with the client's daily operations.
The project manager, manager and company prepare a final report for each course. In addition, the Project Manager prepares a final report for the entire project manager process.
It is the goal that 15 entrepreneurial companies will gain a commercial leadership competence. There may be different types of competencies and job descriptions, e.g. in the form of sales manager, CEO, CFO, supply chain manager, chairman of the board.
