British Business Bank (BBB) undertook a mini competition utilising the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) RM6188 Audit & Assurance Services Framework - Lot 2 External Audit. This was for the delivery of Post Claims Assurance (PCA) Services. PCA will aim to provide assurance that Lenders have claimed in line with the Guarantee Agreement (GA), and/or add to the evidence base, to allow challenge and potential offset or reimbursement of incorrectly made claims. The PCA project will develop a systematic risk-based process to identify a population of claims settled by Department for Business and Trade (DBT) under the terms of the GA.

Award was made to more than one supplier to manage any conflicts of interest held with the Lenders and to ensure suitable levels of capacity to deliver the services. The Contracts are for an initial term of 1 year and 7 months, with available extensions for a further 2 periods of 12 months.
