SMHI needs a highly experienced project manager who can steer and hold together the project with the goal of having a modernised and reliable network for measuring solar radiation. The project manager needs to have experience of complex projects, technical installations, measurement systems and requirements specification in public procurement. The project will make choices together with data users and decision-makers to arrive at how the network should be designed, within certain budget frameworks. After that, the upgrade will be carried out, which includes both procurement and installation of new technology.

The work is estimated over time to correspond to about 50% of a full-time position, but the distribution can vary both upwards and downwards, depending on the needs in the different phases of the project.
