Transport services to and from day centres for elderly persons and disabled persons in Askøy municipality.

The transportation of users to and from the municipal day centres for elderly and disabled persons is an important part of the municipality's total transport needs.

Askøy municipality sees the transport to and from day centres as an integrated part of the day centre offer. This means that the transport service to and from the day centres must be seen as equally safe, predictable and comfortable for users as it is to be present at the day centre.

The users sahll not pay for the transport themselves. The contract is a gross contract, in which the contracting authority Askøy municipality c/o the department for Health and Welfare for Individuals and Living Conditions, will pay remuneration to the operator of the service.
