Norwegian Nuclear Decommissioning (NND) invites tenderers to the procurement to establish a contract for the clearance and disposal of radioactive waste from Søve gruver in Nome municipality in Vestfold and Telemark county.

The project will be executed in two phases.
• Phase 1: Collection phase/detailed engineering design phase.
• Phase 2: Execution phase/implementation phase.
Phase 1, the collection phase will include all activities that a turnkey contractor must perform prior to clearance and disposal starting in Phase 2. This includes, among other things, the basis for choosing a location, working out the details of the landfill concept, analysis of environmental consequences and preparation of applications for the relevant authorities.
Upon the completion of Phase 1, the Builder will decide whether a turnkey contract with a contractor will be entered into for the implementation phase (Phase 2). The Builder has the right but is not obligated to enter into a turnkey contract with a chosen tenderer for Phase 2.
Phase 2 will be executed as a turnkey contract.
If it decided to move forward with a contractor for Phase 2, a turnkey contract will be entered into, which will include the following, among other things.
The contracting authority's description of the delivery:
• Excavation of materials from the current open landfill,
• Transport to a certified land fill site
• Conditioning and permanent disposal of the materials in an approved landfill
• Returning the area to its original state after the excavation
• Joint communication strategy
• Environmental considerations during the project
