This contract consists of a 4-year framework agreement and is intended for long-term rental (from 48 to 72 months), for vehicles intended for police missions in the Boraine Police Zone.
Similarly, since it is a framework agreement, this implies that the award of the contract does not bind the contracting authority for the final order (no minimum quantity or exclusivity).
However, the contracting authority may not exceed the maximum quantity announced in this contract, without the prior agreement of the successful tenderer.
The principle of this framework agreement is that the contracting authority shall designate only one successful tenderer per lot in a first phase, on the basis of estimated unit prices and quantity, and then place an order from that successful tenderer in a second phase.
