The contract will consist of a number of elements:
— The core IT Managed Service encompassing, inter alia, support of all information technology based IT systems, servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals,
— Helpdesk services,
— The management of the LAN and wireless networks at all sites,
— Continuous process improvement in line with WI ICT strategy and changing technology with specialist advice & services as required,
— Hardware & software asset licence maintenance,
— Vendor software security updates in line with best practice,
— Technical refresh(s) software,
— Onsite resource for frontline helpdesk support (conditional on budget),
— The provision of the following optional services may also be required during the lifetime of the contract if requested by Waterways Ireland,
— Specialist training courses,
— Technical refresh(s) of hardware,
— Wireless site extensions.
