The Money Advice Service is to procure a multi-strand project to map, assess and make recommendations for accreditation of a range of debt advice training, qualifications, quality standards, membership codes and requirements for sole debt advisers against the UK wide Money Advice Service Quality Framework.

The successful organisation will be required to:

— establish an open application process, and to communicate the scheme across the debt advice sector.

— to manage applications and moderate across assessments, and make recommendations for Money Advice Service accreditation across applications.

— to establish a mechanism for ongoing review of new and existing accredited standards and membership codes.

— to establish an open reassessment process for any changes to accredited standards, codes, training or qualifications.

A provisional date for a supplier event has been identified for October 29th.
