The city of Bad Bramstedt wants to build a new fire station and advertises project management services for this purpose.

The city of Bad Bramstedt intends to build a new fire station for its volunteer fire brigade (full-time guard department and extinguishing group).

The new building is to be built on Hamburger Straße in Bad Bramstedt. The property available for the new fire station has an area of approximately 8,500 m 2. The competition property is currently built on with several buildings. There are residential buildings on the northern sections that are no longer in use. In the past, the southern part of the area was used by a car dealership. The use has already been abandoned and the area is owned by the city. Coniferous plants exist on parts of the parcels.

The new construction of the fire station is partially financed with public funds from the state of Schleswig-Holstein. Construction is scheduled to start around October 2023. The client is currently commissioning property and landscape planning following an implementation competition. Further specialist planning services will then be awarded.

The new building for the fire brigade is intended to provide space for 16 size 2 parking spaces plus a workshop and laundry room, as well as the necessary functional and ancillary rooms. The concept of the fire station was determined in a competitive process. Due to the winning concept, the building should consist of an elongated building complex. It will have a ground floor, a 1st floor and a 2nd floor in parts.

With this call for tenders, project management services for the construction of the fire station are to be commissioned. The service includes project stages 1-5 according to issue No. 9, § 2 of the Project Management Service and Fee Regulations in the Construction and Real Estate Industry of the AHO (Committee of Associations and Chambers of Engineers and Architects for the Fee Regulations). This therefore relates in particular to the following services:

- Project stage 1: Project preparation.

- Project stage 2: planning

- Project stage 3: Execution preparation

- Project stage 4: execution

- Project stage 5: Project completion

Within each project stage, action areas A-E are to be provided:

- Area of action A: organization, information, coordination and documentation.

- Activity area B: Qualities and quantities.

- Action area C: Costs and financing.

- Action area D: Deadlines, capacities and logistics.

- Action area E: Contracts and insurance.

The order is awarded subject to phased commissioning. First, the order for project stage 1 is issued. Project stages 2-5 will be commissioned in stages as soon as the previous project stage has been fulfilled.
