Winter service 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 on the areas of the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, NL Nord, along the A39 motorway under the responsibility of AM Hittfeld

The Autobahn GmbH of the Federal Government, North Branch, plans to carry out the

Winter service along the A39 motorway under the responsibility of the Hittfeld motorway maintenance department in order to ensure road safety and the performance of the existing

road network. The task is to prevent traffic hazards and

to avoid, eliminate or at least reduce traffic obstructions as a result of winter influences. The winter service must be carried out as early as possible if the weather forecast is appropriate.

The scope of this tender includes the implementation of winter service on the A 39 for routes FZ 06 and FZ 07, in accordance with the annex "AM Hittfeld A39 winter service routes FZ 06 and FZ 07". For this purpose, the contractor shall provide personnel and vehicles, including the necessary winter service technology, in an operationally and traffic-safe condition for each route.

The drivers deployed must have a sufficient command of the German language to be able to understand and implement instructions from the motorway maintenance department via mobile phone and to report possible malfunctions to the incident commander.

The winter service includes the execution of gritting operations as well as clearing and gritting operations. The contractor is responsible for the services

to be carried out in accordance with the contract. In doing so, he must observe the recognized rules of technology as well as the legal regulations and official regulations.

The winter service will be carried out in the period from 15.10.2023 to 30.04.2024 and from 01.10.2024 to 30.04.2025.
