The South Coast Affinity Group (SCAG) has established a Framework Agreement for the provision of Waste Management Services to its members, namely, University of Southampton, Southampton Solent University, University of Portsmouth, University of Winchester, Bournemouth University and University of the Arts Bournemouth. Additionally, Southampton City College will be joining this framework as an affiliate member. The framework will also be available for use by the University of the Creative Arts and the National Oceanography Centre Southampton. The participating organisations have sought an efficient, high quality waste management service that fully complies with SCAG Universities' environmental objectives to reduce the environmental impact of waste services, meet government targets for recycling and operate at a zero level to landfill.
The University of Southampton has awarded (on behalf of the South Coast Affinity Group (SCAG) and associates) a single supplier framework for the provision of waste management services. The framework is for a maximum of 4 years and has a maximum value of £17m. Each individual member institution will place a call off through the framework for their individual requirements. These call offs are expected to be for a minimum of 1 year with no maximum limit. The SCAG members and associated institutions are: * University of Southampton * Arts University Bournemouth * Bournemouth University * Southampton City College * Southampton Solent University * University of Portsmouth * University of Winchester The framework will also be available for use by the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton and the University of the Creative Arts.
