The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to request tenders on 20 cloud height sensors. The object of the contract is described in more detail in Annex 1 to the Invitation to Tender, ‘Object of the contract’.

The Finnish Meteorological Institute is using cloud height sensors on it's automatic weather stations (AWS) throughout the whole country. In order to maintain the high data quality and availability, the sensors used must comply with the demanding environmental conditions met on this area.

Tender variants will be accepted within the limits set by the definition of the object of the contract.
