Based on the political agreement of 31 May 2021 on the implementation of the pool for sustainable construction, funds have been established under initiative no. 4 to promote the re-use of load-bearing structures.
The present tender for the contract for the promotion of the reuse of load-bearing structures concerns the purchase of consultants who will carry out a number of analyses and prepare a guide for building owners and consultants that will clarify a conversion process and clarify which information should be obtained when in order to reduce the risk of a redevelopment of existing buildings.
The assignment has a fixed price of DKK 1.7 million. The assignment is expected to run from the end of October 2022 to September 1, 2023. The task will contribute to the promotion of redevelopment or in-depth renovations of existing buildings, where the load-bearing structures are reused, rather than demolition and new construction.

The present tender for the contract for the promotion of the reuse of load-bearing structures-concerns the procurement of consultants for the performance of some specified tasks.
The tasks to be performed are divided into three stages.
Phase 1 will carry out a literature study and a major analysis of existing building stock from 1930-1995 with an eye for the importance of rules and norms for the recycling policy in load-bearing structures.
Phase 2 consists of a barrier analysis and a case collection that examines which barrie-res the target group experiences in connection with the conversion of existing buildings, where the load-bearing structures are preserved.
In phase 3, a guide is prepared for building owners and consultants, which clarifies a redevelopment process and clarifies what information to obtain when in order to reduce the risk of a redevelopment of existing buildings. The focus of the guide is the potential for reuse of load-bearing structures by building types and periods.
