The podium installation of the orchestra pit of the Deutsche Oper Berlin (DOB) dates back to the 1960s and increasingly shows safety and operational deficits in the running of the game, which can only be remedied by renovating the orchestra pit and rebuilding the podium. In addition, the load-lift, which dates back to the 1960s and is used for delivery to the entire stage area, has considerable shortcomings with the danger of a complete, complete downtime. The entire system, including the drive and the cab, must be replaced. To maintain the game operation, the implementation of the measures is mandatory. The construction project is financed by funds from the state of Berlin. The basis for this is the approved demand program for EUR 5 million gross total cost of 2.4.2019.
The structural completion is planned for September 2022.
The contract includes services for the technical equipment in accordance with the Fee Rules for Architects and Engineers (HOAI) Part 4 Section 2 § 53 of Attachment Group 6) Conveyors and 7) Use-specific Installations. The scope of the contract includes, among other things, planning services for the construction of a new goods lift and the renewal of the platform installation in the orchestra pit.
According to the performance picture of the technical equipment, here plant group 6 and 7, first the performance phase 3 should be awarded.

The realization of the construction project is carried out in 2 phases 2021 and 2022, which are interrupted by the season 2021/22.
The demand program shows a total cost of EUR 5 million gross. The costs for the construction measure are capped.

- On the client side, a project controller is switched on. Other planners involved are architects, structural engineers, specialist engineers (TGA - building services), if necessary special experts such as safety coordinators, building physicists and test experts (fire protection, electrical engineering, etc.),
- In accordance with the framework planning, the approved construction planning documents (BPU) should be available in May 2020 and the construction should take place from 06 to 09/2021 and 06 to 09/2022. The planning is based on the audited demand program (02.04.09), which will be made available to the participants of the negotiation talks. (see tender documents P1).
