The district of Cham is planning the expansion, conversion or general renovation of the Robert Schuman grammar school in Cham.
In concrete terms, the renovation of the central building, a south-west extension with a connecting corridor and a new entrance/new building/extension are planned.
The Robert Schuman Grammar School offers humanistic, linguistic, economic and social science education. In addition, both bound and open all-day offers are set up at the grammar school.
Over 700 pupils currently attend the school.
According to the present cost estimate, costs of approximately €22.7 million gross (KG 200-700) are assumed.
It is intended to commission the following services (in stages) with this tender:
Project planning for buildings and interiors, service phases 3 to 9 according to §§ 33 ff. HOAI.

According to the present cost estimate, costs of approximately €22.7 million gross (KG 200-700) are assumed.
Due to massive cost increases in draft/approval planning, the services of performance phase 3 are to be repeated and economically optimized.
The following milestones are planned:
- Review and optimize design planning+school supervisory approval+submit building and equipment documents for the funding application to the government by the end of November 2022.
- Completion of the building permit documents in parallel.
- Start of construction: May 2023.
- Completion: around July 2026.
For the expansion, renovation and general renovation of the Robert Schuman Gymnasium in Cham, the services of building and interior design are to be awarded in accordance with §§ 33 ff. HOAI.
The services are ordered in stages.
In the 1st stage of assignment, work phases 3 and 4 (design planning and approval planning) are commissioned in accordance with § 34 HOAI. The service phases 5-9 are called up in stages. There is no legal claim to overall assignment.
