Provision of audiovisual services at the European Parliament sites in Brussels and Strasbourg and, exceptionally, away from its buildings in the EU Member States. This mainly concerns providing human resources specialised in the audiovisual sector and hiring audiovisual equipment to carry out the following services:
— technical assistance for audiovisual media (video, audio, multimedia), MEPs, EuroparlTV and the institution's various directorates general (filming, studio recordings, editing, producing video clips, etc.),
— audiovisual and multimedia coverage (including Internet, streaming and video on demand) of activities at the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg and, exceptionally, away from its buildings in the EU Member States,
— operation and management of radio/TV studios and sets and the technical audiovisual and multimedia equipment installed in the press room, central equipment room, broadcasting studios, the Hemicycle and the European Parliament's other meeting rooms,
— editing, encoding and broadcasting of current affairs and illustrative material via all appropriate means,
— purchase, analysis and preservation of the institution's audiovisual formats (film, video, multimedia and audio files) and corresponding metadata,
— recording, duplication and management of audio/video servers,
— technical assistance with the management of the European Parliament's audiovisual site,
— planning, operational and technical coordination of activities.
