The Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) is seeking proposals from tenderers to:
— develop a training programme, comprising a number of modules at introductory level, to support the implementation of the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM),
— develop easily accessible and innovative training materials for each module that appeal to an array of learning preferences. In developing these materials, a variety of media should be used, namely downloadable pdf booklets, podcasts and training videos,
— develop and deliver a train the trainer programme to allow trainers from a number of agencies (e.g. City and County Childcare Committees, early years specialist service, health service executive etc.) to deliver the training programme (or parts thereof) nationally to pre-school practitioners with confidence and consistency.
