The purpose of the implementation of the Framework Agreement is to be able to offer district heating supply for existing and new residential and/or commercial buildings within the area boundaries of the project area. The project area includes all or part of the local and/or sub-plans in Vejle. The areas are currently heat planned for natural gas supply.

TREFOR expects to divide the project into 7 main contracts. A mini-tender (renewed competition) is carried out for each lot.
