The subject of the contract is the implementation by the Contractor of the expertise constituting the update and extension of the development of “The concept of improving water relations in the nature reserve “Uroczysko Wrzosy” — within the boundaries of the area of importance for the Dębnian Wetland Community PLH020002”. The description of the subject of the order is included in Annex 1 to the specification.

The subject of the contract includes in particular:

1) Inventory of natural habitats and plant and animal species adjacent to Juszka, Novi Trench and canal (m. p.), in the area of completion of the subject of the order, with particular emphasis on the land north of Juszka course so-called Bacarskie Meadows, including:

(a) inventory of natural habitats and species subject to conservation of the area of importance to the Dębnian Wetland Community PLH020002,

(b) inventory of other natural habitats and species in Annexes I and II of the Habitats Directive and Annex I of the Bird Directive;

(c) inventory of protected plant species and protected and rare bird species associated with water-mud areas.

2) Inventory of water equipment and hydrotechnical facilities, including ditches, culverts and valves, against the background of watercourses located in the area of completion of the object of the order.

3) Inventory of congestion in the Juszka course - trees that have flow in the Juszka course and beaver (location, coordinates — size).

4) Hydrological analysis, including determination of the current flow of water in the courses and ditches in the area of completion of the subject of the order.

5) The preparation of longitudinal profiles of the courses and the most important ditches, as well as cross-sections in key places due to the subject of the order (minimum 8 points marked on the map of the execution area of the object of the order).

6) Assessment of the current impact of existing water relations on inventory habitats and species, including in particular those located in the so-called Bacarskie meadows together with a description of threats to natural habitats and plant and animal species.

7) Assessment of the optimal needs of individual habitats for water relations, in particular the depth of backlog of the first groundwater level and the duration and duration of surface inundation and stagnant water.

8) The analysis of existing proposals for technical solutions and operational guidelines aimed at improving water relations included in the expertise entitled “The concept of improving water relations in the Nature Reserve “Uroczysko Wrzosy” (T. Kowalczyk, R. Pokładek, M. Krukowski, G Bobrowicz — Arborysta.com Architecture and Landscape Laboratory, 2014), held by the Ordering Party.

9) Proposing, on the basis of work carried out under points 1 to 8, literature data and own expertise, activities in the field of water management, including hydrotechnical nature, which will enable optimal improvement of water relations in the area of implementation of the subject orders, according to the purpose of the Project. The action proposal should presume their optimisations, i.e. achieving as much as possible real improvement in water relations in order to preserve and improve the state of protected habitats without incurring disproportionately high relative to the expected cost effect. The proposal to improve water relations must be justified and supported by hydrological and hydrotechnical calculations that will prove the achievement of the intended ecological effect. As part of this subassembly, technical solutions and operational guidelines should be proposed, among others, together

with technical characteristics, including (as required):

10) Presentation of the legal actions necessary for the implementation of the proposed actions, in particular with regard to obtaining the necessary administrative decisions and arrangements

11) Photographic documentation performed during the implementation of the task.
