Description:

Engineering services for the design adaptations of a commercial off-the-shelf vacuum valve (VAT Series 47) to comply with the specific requirements (mm-wave transmission, dimensions, interfaces, vacuum, nuclear and mechanical integration) of the ITER EC Launcher Isolation Valve. The outputs of this contract include the manufacturing design of the adapted valve prototype, as well as preliminary specifications for subsequent qualification activities (vacuum, special processes and special components).
